QinetiQ Consulting's Data Acquisition and Management Practice is focused on:

• The development of Data Management tools using stringent Systems / Software Engineering principles.  These tools include products that enable data acquisition, reduction, merge, conversion, parsing, visualisation and analysis in either a planned, near real-time or post event scenario whilst maintaining integrity and highest level of accuracy.
• Integration, operation and enhancement of proprietary data acquisition and data visualisation systems (including both hardware and software).
• Provision of expert advice focusing on solutions / strategies for improving the existing data management infrastructure of a work place.

QinetiQ Consulting currently provides Data Acquisition and Management services to Defence's Aerospace Operations Support Group.  This support is predominantly in the area of Air Systems Development and Test for Fast-Jet, Helicopter and Turbo-Prop avionics systems and in the area of Information Warfare (Counter Measures, Analysis and Mission Support, Electronic Warfare Systems).
