QinetiQ Consulting is contracted to the Royal Australian Air Force to model and measure the ability of the RAAF to fulfil its operational outcomes.  This activity is supported by the QinetiQ Consulting developed and supported AFCERT (the Air Force Capability Evaluation Reporting Tool).  The early phase of the contract required QinetiQ Consulting to model all of the operational elements of the RAAF using Business Process Mapping techniques.  The operational support and maintenance phase now requires QinetiQ Consulting to regularly capture metrics and compare them against the model - the results are tabulated by AFCERT and presented to senior RAAF leaders who ascertain where and how RAAF capability performance can be improved.

QinetiQ Consulting provides ongoing support to the RAAF with dedicated staff in place at each headquarters site, a central support cell and reachback to company resources.  Support includes the management of software, development of methodology, identification of metrics, assistance in assessment, analysis and reporting, standardisation and training.
